Glyco-Nutritients

BIOTECH INDUSTRIES' nutritional research center in Carbondale, Colorado has announced a breakthough in immune system study that explains how the immune system works, and what happens when it goes awry, as it does in immune system deficiency disorders.

T cells exist in normal blood. They are designed to identify foreign organisms and direct white blood cells to attack and destroy them before they overwhelm and harm the host (our bodies).

In a healthy system, T cells learn to tell the difference between body cells and foreign organisms. They do this by recognizing protein fragments (antigens) which attach themselves to body cells.

In a body that has been compromised by illness, debility, advancing age, stress or unhealthy living and eating habits, the tags are not formed properly. Consequently, T cells have a hard time telling what is part of the body, and what is a foreign organism.

When T cells can no longer tell body cells from foreign invaders, they start directing white blood cells to attack body cells indiscriminately.

This creates an immune deficiency disorder, which can manifest as Cancer, Arthritis, AIDS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and a host of other, progressively debilitating and life-threatening conditions.

By supplying the glyco-nutrients in the form of a nutritional supplement, the body can enable T cells to distinguish which are body cells and which are foreign organisms. Consequently, the immune system, instead of attacking the body, can then do the job it was designed to do.
